Kalpesh Mehta recently shared a moment of excitement on social media, revealing that he had a productive discussion with Eric Trump about the ongoing Trump India projects. "Great day discussing new Trump India projects with Eric Trump at the incredible Mar-a-Lago club. Expect some major deal announcements soon!" Mehta posted earlier this week.
Pankaj Bansal also expressed his enthusiasm, recalling his first meeting with Donald Trump Jr. in 2017, when they began plans for the Trump Towers in Delhi NCR. "What an incredible growth story it has been since then, with both the Trump and M3M brands continuing to expand," Bansal said ahead of the inauguration.
India is a crucial market for the Trump Organization’s international expansion, with projects in major cities like Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, and Kolkata. What started with four luxury residential Trump Towers will soon grow to 10 within the next 5-6 years. New projects are slated for cities such as Noida, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and more. These will include residential towers, office spaces, golf courses, and villas.
Kalpesh Mehta, who comes from a family of architects and completed his MBA from Wharton, shared insights into how his collaboration with the Trump Organization began. After meeting Donald Trump Jr. at a New York bar over a decade ago, the two discussed their future ventures on the back of a cocktail napkin. Mehta recalled President Trump’s key advice: “We don’t want to do too many projects, but whatever we do, it should be the best in class.” This mantra has guided their ongoing success in India’s luxury real estate market.
